So, also Ärmel hochgekrempelt und los geht es. Ich werde hier keine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung geben, denn da gibt es genug, aber ich werde eine Etage darüber den Leitfaden geben, wann man wo welche Anleitung befolgen muss. Englisch muss man können, mein Glossar gelesen haben, und seinen Computer einigermaßen bedienen können. Schwerpunkt liegt bei mir auf Mac's, aber ich verweise auch auf Windows, wo es nötig ist, kann dort aber keine eigenen Erfahrungen beitragen.
1. Ein iPhone mit Firmware <=1.0.2 mit SIM Lock gehackt
Hier muss zuerst der alten Zustand des Modems (Basebands) wieder hergestellt werden, das nennt man "Re-Virginizen" aus einsichtigen Gründen. Wie das geht steht hier für Mac-Erleuchtete und hier für Windozer. Danach weiter bei Schritt 3.
2. Ein iPhone mit Firmware 1.1.1
Hier muss zuerst auf die alte 1.0.2er Firmware gedowndated werden. Wie das geht steht hier für Mac-Erleuchtete und hier für Windozer. Danach weiter bei Schritt 3.
3. Ein ungehacktes iPhone mit Firmware <=1.0.2
Hier erfolgt nun das eigentliche Hacken. Zuerst wird per Activation, SSH Install und Jailbreak die 1.0.2er gehackt. Dann macht man das Gerät kurz mit iTunes bekannt und installiert den pre-1.1.1 Upgrade Hack. Dann darf iTunes das 1.1.1 Update machen, welches dann gleich wieder per Activation, SSH Install und Jailbreak gehackt wird. Steht alles ab hier für den Mac, und weiter unten in der Anleitung für Windozer.
Nun kommt die Zeit des SIM Lock Hacks, dazu nehme man Anysim und befolge diese Anweisungen.
Nun ist das iPhone auf der Firmware 1.1.1, nimmt jede ordentliche SIM und alles Funktioniert. Ist doch prima.

Damit EDGE funktioniert, muss die APN richtig gesetzt werden, leider scheint die 1.1.1er Firmware etwas vergesslich zu sein. Was es zu beachten gibt, steht hier.
